Samples, Samples, Samples

It seems like all  you do in the early stages of fashion is sew sample after sample without making a finished garment. In Construction yesterday we passed in our hand sewing samples – the first step in becoming haute couture designers? Probably not. Aparently Christian Lacroix isn’t even selling much couture. If they can’t sell it, who can?

Maybe thats why yesterday we spend three hours working on our industrial machine sewing techniques. We sewed around circles and squares on paper, then moved to four different hem samples.
